This northern area of the resort has two relaxation pools. Here you’ll also find our Poolside Cabanas for two people. Just call to ask about booking these luxurious, semi-private, tented areas with padded loungers, personal water fountain, fruit and waiter service.
This is the place to ‘lounge’, literally. Grab a float and bob about in this shallow pool. During summer weekends this is the area where we host our ‘Twilight’ evenings with Under the Stars entertainment: live music, DJs and movie nights.
Rock up here for a freshly squeezed and blended selection of organic juices, smoothies and frozen yogurt, served all day long.
Our recently launched Lounge 1860 is the resort’s social hub. This covered bar area has tables, chairs, fans and a huge hanging chandelier, plus heating in winter. Make this your rendezvous for a cocktail any time of day.
Facials from internationally-renowned brand [comfort zone] and manicures and pedicures with natural brands Spa Ritual and Farmhouse Fresh take place here in our beauty salon. Most facials are 50 minutes and all the products that you enjoy in your treatments are on sale here.
This is home to our elegant cabanas: semi-private spaces to rent for parties of two to 12 people, with dedicated waiter service. This raised area is a peaceful place above the main resort, with leafy views of trees and mountains. You can also rent single loungers ($30) or book the whole terrace for larger group celebrations.
Our farm-to-table cuisine focusing on fresh, clean California dishes is served at the Ivy Kitchen, our main restaurant. It has a market vibe and offers recognized favorites alongside seasonal specials and healthy choices. During summer weekend evenings we showcase our Twilight Menu.
This unique – and fun – mud experience is available to all guests. Cover yourself in California red clay infused with our own mineral water and dry out in the sun or the warm Wafa chamber. Then simply wash off the dried mud when it becomes loose and flakey on your skin.
The Grotto is one of two totally unparalleled experiences at Glen Ivy. It’s a moisturizing treatment that takes you through four underground caverns until you emerge, in your own time, with baby-soft skin.
After check-in make your way to the Bath House to change and store your belongings. Here we also have showers, steam rooms and an indoor Roman Bath. No need to pack body wash, shampoo, conditioner or hair dryers, as we supply them for you. Ask a Bath House attendant for a wrist-band for quick ID when buying alcoholic drinks.
This is the therapeutic hot spot of the resort. Wallow in one of these five, warm (104 degrees) mineral water plunge pools to really relax and ease stiff muscles and joints.
This is the quick-fire, health-boost corner of Glen Ivy. Switch between these hot and cold plunge pools to charge your immune system, flush out your toxins, reboot your circulation, wake up and calm down. This form of hydrotherapy is a fabulous, all-round wellbeing experience.
Both these pools are good for soothing your nervous system. Not only does the Saline Pool contain minerals to relax and renew body systems, the Vista Pool has long views over the Santa Ana Mountains, while the other is shaded by colonnades and vines, palms and bougainvillea in a pretty corner of our richly landscaped resort.
We have recently installed two elegantly-designed saunas in this shady terraced area of Glen Ivy. They are each built from different woods and stone, have different scents and different temperatures. We advise you spend no more than 15 minutes inside at any one time.
You can hire this very special corner of Glen Ivy for private parties. The raised area, in the shade of tall cypress trees and right next to two waterfalls, has ample space and loungers for up to seven people.
We have an ever-expanding activities program to boost your Glen Ivy wellness experience. The Activities Deck is home to yoga, Pilates, tai chi, qi gong and fitness classes throughout the day. See our full Activities Calendar here. The Labyrinth: While you’re here at Glen Ivy we invite you to walk through The Labyrinth. This ancient ritual is a metaphor for our journey through life and invites us to go slowly and mindfully, tuning out – just for a few moments – from the noise of our daily life.
We hold Aqua Fit and Aqua Zumba classes in the Lap Pool, but it’s also a great place to hang out, ideally positioned close to both Goco Café and the Mineral Baths.
This is where you start your day at Glen Ivy. Our resort concierge can help you with packages, specials, gift cards, memberships and spa and beauty treatment bookings. You can also place a card on file to simplify any purchases you make during the day. Here you’ll also find our upgraded Retail Store, now stocking a range of top resort wear and accessories for men and women, international spa products, our own Glen Ivy branded items and gifts.
This is the place to pick up a Starbucks and a freshly made snack on arrival at Glen Ivy. Our new and stylish GOCO Café serves healthy food and drinks all day. It’s the perfect place to escape the sun in the summer and is a cozy retreat in the winter.
Our team of dedicated therapist is waiting for you in our Massage Village. You can choose between a 50 or 80-minute treatment for most of our body rituals.
