Start fresh this spring season with this classic European style facial enhanced with a Blueberry Lactic exfoliating peel. This gentle peel removes dead skin cells and allows products to work more effectively so that after one treatment skin will appear softer, smoother and brighter. Recommended for dull, dry, dehydrated skin. Available April 1-30.

I’m so excited to tell you about the new body treatment for fall at Glen Ivy Day Spas in Brea and Valencia – the Fall Into Bliss body treatment features Farmhouse Fresh products, which are absolutely amazing! The 80 minute full body experience includes a back of body massage with Sweet Cream Body Milk, heated stones on the back, a Sugar Maple Back Scrub, and a full body wrap with a Sweet Honey Mask. Sounds divine, right? Well, there’s more! This blissful treatment is finished off with a head, neck and shoulder massage while wrapped in a cocoon of aromatic warmth. ($145)
Yesterday Jennifer and I took a trip up to Spa Salon at the Hot Springs to play with the new Farmhouse Fresh products and we immediately “oooohed” and “ahhhhed” when we saw the display and unbelievably cute packaging (there’s a box that says “Our cows eat cookies”–too fun!). We didn’t waste any more time before we began our usual routine when testing out new products. The salon staff were quickly alongside us encouraging us to “Smell this one!” and “Wait…you HAVE to try that one!”
Meanwhile, Jennifer was lathering on Sweet Cream Body Milk, smelling her arms, and raving about the adorable the glass pour-spout cruet packaging. Here’s a neat detail: the products are signed by ther person that handpackaged them. By the end of our visit to the Spa Salon we came out smelling sweet and feeling soft! In our book, products that give us our sugar fix AND smooth skin are always welcome!

Congratulations to Dustin, the Valencia Grotto King! After a tough decision, the votes are in! We had some groovy (and goofy) green guests who joined in on the Grotto contest and with the competition fierce, Dustin was able to take home the prize using his best bodybuilder pose! 
Dustin received a gift basket courtesy of the Glen Ivy team in Valencia! Thank you to everyone who participated and we look forward to your next spa visit!

“Going Green” is best known for the three R’s- Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle, but in this case, “Going Green” takes on a whole NEW meaning! Glen Ivy Day Spa, Valencia, recently held a Grotto contest where guests gave their best pose after being applied with the aloe vera and sea kelp masque! My elevating moment of the day was seeing how much fun everyone was having with their friends and family despite the rainy weather. Glen Ivy is proud to be a part of such a positive and spirited community!
Throughout the day I collected spa goer forms to raffle off two admission passes to the Hot Springs and passes to The Grotto at Glen Ivy Day Spa, Valencia. Congratulations to our winners: Nicole, Jean, Irene and Stella! We’ll see you at the spa!
