About

Welcome to Glen Ivy Spas

At the mouth of Cold Water Canyon, beneath the towering Santa Ana Range, Glen Ivy Hot Springs lies sheltered by the mountains and open to the sky. Water flows from deep in the earth into this natural sanctuary, as it has for countless generations. The first commercial use of the mineral springs can be traced back to 1860, and for 150 years Glen Ivy Hot Springs has attracted people who seek the benefits of nature, water and exercise, the pleasures of good food and camaraderie with others – the relaxation, renewal, and deep sense of well-being a day at the hot springs can bring.

With spacious outdoor pools and year-‘round temperate climate, every visit is an opportunity to rediscover a connection with oneself, with each other, and with the world around. Stretching across 12 acres of lush gardens, the spa also features California’s only therapeutic red clay mineral mud bath, aptly named “Club Mud,” The Grotto, a full body moisturizing treatment underground is another signature Glen Ivy experience not to be missed.  Café Solé and Sunflower Sushi, Temaki and Shaved Ice serve a healthy selection of spa cuisine prepared under the artful direction of Glen Ivy’s own Executive Chef Bill Wavrin. Guests may also enjoy an extensive menu of treatments and therapies in the Spa Salon, Massage Village, or in the South Massage area where they can experience our  unique outdoor Under the Oaks. Whether it’s a soothing soak in the mineral baths, or a special day to celebrate with friends and family in one of our four Cabañas, Glen Ivy Hot Springs is your place to do things that are good and good for you, which is why we often hear guests say “I just love how I feel when I’m here.”

If you have spent time at Glen Ivy, you understand spa lifestyle is about renewal — the way we live our lives, what we do with our bodies, our relationships, the way we eat, and especially, how we see our own potential. This is the philosophy that inspires our growing program of fitness classes, creative workshops, and learning opportunities.
Glen Ivy Hot Springs also offers Wellness Retreats in partnership with the neighboring The Glen Ivy Center. The property includes retreat facilities and accommodations, as well as a certified organic farm.

In addition to the historic Hot Springs location, Glen Ivy has a day spa in Brea, California. Beautiful indoor solarium, a full menu of treatments, and the soothing waters of the roman baths offer this same essence of what has become known as “The Glen Ivy Spa Experience.”

As the Hot Springs completes its 150th year anniversary of providing healing waters and extraordinary service, Glen Ivy continues to welcome over 250,000 guests annually and employ 450 people in Southern California.
