I beset on a journey today… To meet our “first guest of 2010” at Glen Ivy Hot Springs in Corona
My name is Jeff West, and I am the Manager of Guest Experience here at Glen Ivy Hot Springs in Corona. I have set out on a quest to meet the last spa guest of 2010 (read interview here) and the first guest of this New Year 2011. Early this morning I had the pleasure of greeting Barbara Hampton to the Hot Springs, one of our Club 1860 Members.
Some highlights from my visit with the first guest of 2011 at Glen Ivy Hot Springs, Barbara Hampton…
Jeff: Barbara, how long have you been coming to Glen Ivy Hot Springs, and how often do you visit?
Barbara was the first guest of New Year 2011 to Glen Ivy Hot Springs Spa, Corona,
Barbara: Well, let’s see….I was actually the first person in the door when Café Solé opened! And I’d been coming 5 years already by then. I come no less than twice a month, sometimes it’s once a week; for these many years.
Jeff: What brought you here today and did you come with anyone?
Barbara: Are you kidding? I came alone today, my friends have hangovers! I wanted to start the year off with a big dose of rejuvenation.
Jeff: Speaking of rejuvenation, what is your favorite part, favorite thing about Glen Ivy?
Barbara: Well, the rejuvenating Hot Springs certainly, the people, the staff are incredible – always make me feel so at home. I love the Café, the food; I think Bill the Chef is remarkable. Let’s not forget the services, I tell my friends check them out, find your favorite Massage Therapists and ask for them every time.
Jeff: Barbara do you make New Year’s Resolutions and if so did you make one this year that you would share with us?
Barbara: Absolutely! Mine is to live healthier. And I love that coming regularly to Glen Ivy makes me conscious, more aware of what that is.
