July Events at the Hot Springs
Headed to the Glen Ivy Hot Springs Corona in July? We’re excited to welcome some wonderful guests this month as we continue with programs meant just for you! Check out what events will be happening this month at the Hot Springs:
7/16: MaryLou Falstreau- “Women and the Hourglass: An Interactive Presentation.” 1pm, Tiempo Lounge
We invite you to participate in an interactive presentation based on MaryLou’s new series, “Women and the Hourglass.” She will explain exactly what an “Hourglass Woman” is and will pose questions that, quite possibly, will inspire you to become one! She will share her intimate, humorous and profound stories about women who embody the spirit of the series.
Falstreau is an artist, poet and workshop leader and her desire to transcend the sometimes harsh realities of the physical world is reflected in her colorful and imaginative paintings and writings. She is the co-creator or the popular books “It’s the Stories You Tell That Color Your Life” and she lives on the beautiful, Central Coast of California with her husband and creative partner, Alan Falstreau.
7/23: Patricia Varga- “A Woman with Wings: The Journey Within Workshops.” 11am & 2pm, Tiempo Lounge
Come witness how creativity helps people heal on different levels. By exploring a series of exercises, Patricia will guide participants to define themselves, their lives, their wishes and dreams and to move with the inevitable challenges that everyone faces at various like stage. Patricia’s overall goal is to help participants feel connected and grounded in a way that allows for the best possible decisions.
Patricia is a 25-year veteran of publishing and media. She has worked for the The New Yorker, The Economist/economist.com, House Beautiful, Elle Décor, Outside Magazine, and The Los Angeles Times in sales and marketing. Currently she is a partner with Professional Social Networks Inc where she helps corporate executives reach out to their peers to solve problems, exchange ideas, and keep up with changing trends. 7/28: Tranquil Eyes Event: 11am- 1pm, Tiempo Lounge
Enjoy complimentary 15 minute Tranquileyes therapies for the eyes and surrounding skin. Select either our relaxing anti-aging moist-heat therapy which naturally restores critical moisture which relieves eye dryness, redness and fatigue OR our invigorating cold therapy to relieve puffiness and allergy symptoms.
7/30: Acoustic Guitar with Josiah- 12pm-1pm, Lounge Pool
Come and enjoy Josiah as he shares a variety of musical styles, sharing rhythms, harmonies 
and movement. Born of African-Cherokee descent, in the Cajun Caribbean rhythms of New Orelans, Josiah has nurtured his love for music since his youth and has absorbed the musical cultures and styles of many different people. He is a professional singer, songwriter and guitarist, and is accomplished on the piano, drum, native flute, and assorted percussion instruments.
