Events Next Week at the Hot Springs
Join us at the Hot Springs on Thursday, July 1 and Friday, July 2 as we welcome two very exciting guests: Metal Sculptor and Poet, Patrick Brady and Primavera Co-Founder, Ute Leube.
On Thursday, July 1, Metal Sculptor and Poet, Patrick Brady will be presenting poetry readings from his book of poetry, “From a Non Swimmer,” in the quiet area gardens at 11:00 am and 1:30 pm. “From a Non Swimmer” is a 16 year collection of thoughts and observations from a journey that began in Ireland’s Republic. Patrick will also be showcasing a bronze sculpture that he created in 1999 entitled “Commitment” which is pictured.
From Ulster in the Irish Republic, Patrick has lived as a poet/sculptor since moving to California in 1993. As a manager at Raven Hill Orchard in Julian, California, Patrick is a passionate believer in the resuscitation of the Wildman and a balance between domesticity and love for nature. On Friday, July 2, Primavera Co-Founder, Ute Leube will be hosting a Q&A session in our Tiempo Lounge from 2:00 pm-3:00 pm. You won’t want to miss Ute discuss the benefits of using Primavera products which are created using the best available, most innovative plant based ingredients. There will also be various Primavera products so you can experience first hand their unique and powerful healing properties.
Ute began blending her own skincare in the early 1970s and was inspired by books on essential oils and their unique and powerful healing properties. She has an enthusiasm for plants, their remarkable benefits for the skin and senses, and most importantly, for all living things. Ute and Primavera Co-Founder Kurt Nuebling decided to produce their own organic aromatherapy formulas in the mid-1980s and they began fostering partnerships with like-minded farmers across Europe and eventually the world. Primavera has since been busy as a pioneer of the organic aromatherapy and green lifestyle movement.
